Tuesday, March 4
6 to 8 p.m.
Starting A Business In Illinois: This two-hour seminar is ideal for pre-venture entrepreneurs considering starting a business in Illinois. Multiple aspects of business ownership will be discussed including the legal aspects of starting a business in Illinois, the importance of your business plan and handouts regarding agencies to contact. Fee: $25.
Thursday, March 13
7 to 9 p.m.
Legal Aspects of Business Ownership: For individuals contemplating going into business and existing companies alike. Topics covered will include liabilities, organizational structure, when to seek legal counseling, types of mediation and negotiation. Sam Melei of Roth Melei, Attorneys at Law in Crystal Lake, will cover a wide variety of business-related topics. Fee: $35.
