The Workforce, Community and Business Program of McHenry County College is accepting registrations for the OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Industry that is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, Feb. 10 and 12.
The course is intended for employers who are committed to workplace safety and compliance and is facilitated by Debra Addante, president, Innovative Risk Management LLC. It will provide an entry-level construction worker's general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.
This class covers courses required by OSHA. Topics pertain to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. Upon successful completion, participants will recive a certificate of attendance and OSHA 10-hour card. With over 20 years experience, Innovative Risk Management LLC is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and Association of Sub-contractors and Affiliates.
The course fee is $225, which includes materials. Participants can register using course ID: NTE S69 002. This program will be held at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W.
