MCC TO PRESENT "CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF" |
|
The Black Box Theatre at McHenry County College will present the Tennessee Williams's sizzling drama "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." Williams paints an unforgettable portrait of wicked humor, sexual tension, and aching loneliness in this Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece. "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" will open Thursday, November 5 and runs November 6-7, 12-14, and 19-21. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre, Room D167 at the college, located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14, Crystal Lake. Tickets: $8 for MCC students, faculty/staff, seniors and alumni and $12 for general public.

"FIVE DYSFUNCTIONS OF A TEAM" OFFERED AT MCC SHAH CENTER |

McHenry County College's Shah Center offers leadership training based on Patrick Lencioni's best-selling "Five Dysfunctions of a Team." The course is scheduled from 8 a.m.to noon Wednesday, December 2 and 9. This training is appropriate for front-line through senior-level leaders and explores the fundamental causes of organizational politics and team failure, including Absence of Trust, Fear of Conflict, Lack of Commitment, Avoidance of Accountability, and Inattention to Results. Participants will obtain tools to begin the process of building a functional, lasting team. The course fee is $249.
