Multicultural Program Purpose
Multicultural Programs provides direct student support services and coordinates individual and group activities to promote cross-cultural awareness on campus and create an environment supportive of diversity of all kinds. Additionally, the Office of Multicultural Programs strives to enhance the academic success of minority and underrepresented students through intentional outreach initiatives.
In conjunction with Student Life, Multicultural Programs provides a variety of resources and opportunities to help minority and underrepresented students become acclimated to the college campus, gain access to student support services, and learn about themselves, other cultures, and the community through student involvement. All students are encouraged to participate in college wide programs, build a support network with staff, and participate in social and cultural activities.
