Why study Spanish? Why learn another language?

The Spanish Department at McHenry County College uses a communicative and culture based approach to teaching Spanish. Instructors utilize the latest interactive technologies combined with classroom methodologies which are effective with different learning styles. The changing demographics within McHenry County and surrounding areas provide all of us with an opportunity to interact within the Latino community. Education is the key to diminish mistaken stereotypes and learn to appreciate our cultural differences.
