Why distance education:

I’ve taken (traditional) art and computer courses at MCC before but that semester I didn’t want the obligation of having to sit in a class for a certain number of hours a week. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and take Interpersonal Communication online. But, I was nervous because I’d never taken an online course before and wasn’t really comfortable with the idea of using a computer program like ANGEL.

What did you like about your online course:

I was pleasantly surprised at the interaction I had with my classmates. I felt like I actually got a chance to know them through e-mails and our commenting on each others work. I found ANGEL easy to use after all. I would definitely take another distance education course -- it suits my lifestyle.
