Mary Kay Messling
Mary Kay has been a counselor for over 20 years at MCC and in the private sector. She enjoys working with a wide variety of students and issues. In particular, she enjoys working with students to resolve personal issues and conflicts so that they may be successful as students and in their personal lives.

Mike Weimer
Mike has over 16 years experience as an MCC counselor. His specialty is career counseling. Mike works with individuals and teaches both credit and non-credit career classes. He also is the coordinator of MCC’s Career Resource Center in Room A262.

Luisa Lauf
Luisa has 15 years of experience serving the Hispanic community in McHenry County both as a bilingual teacher and counselor. Luisa has been on the staff of MCC for over 5 years serving as a Spanish Instructor and more recently as a counselor.

Chris Lozier
Chris has been a counselor for almost 40 years with experience at NIU, Kishwaukee College, Elgin Community College and McHenry County College. He enjoys working with individuals and groups dealing with career planning and college success issues.

Jeannine Bolton
Jeannine has worked in McHenry County over 8 years as a counselor. Her background includes mental health, vocational and academic planning counseling. She has lived in McHenry County her entire life and has knowledge of all the available resources in the community. She enjoys helping individuals strive to reach their personal and vocational goals.

Mary Heraty
Mary is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has been counseling individuals and families for the past fifteen years. Mary has worked in a variety of clinical settings in McHenry County including schools, hospitals and inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities. She enjoys helping student reach their personal and educational goals.

Helena Madsen
Helena is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been counseling individuals and families for three years. Her background includes mental health and career planning in university and agency settings as well as 13 years of corporate business experience. She especially enjoys helping individuals overcome obstacles that prevent them from succeeding personally, academically and professionally.
