The center is state licensed and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Teachers are director qualified and have either Associate's Degrees in Early Childhood Education, or the equivalent, or Bachelor's Degrees in Early Childhood Education

The curriculum is play-based and incorporates key experiences in language and literacy, math readiness, social relations, creative exploration and expression in art and music. The classroom is organized into centers that encourage learning and exploration. The daily schedule includes time in centers, snack, outdoor or gym time, large and small group meetings and journaling opportunities.

Still keeping in line with our play-based philosophy, summer camp is offered in four different two-week sessions, offering exploration opportunities through field trips on the MCC campus, interviewing resource people, constructional project work and journaling opportunities.
Each day includes outdoor games, snack, free exploration in centers and other planned activities.
Available to MCC students and employees only.
2 1/2 - 5 year olds are accepted on a flexible schedule. Arrival and departure times are at ten to the hour.
Each child's schedule depends on each family's needs and availability. Hot lunch and rest times are included in the daily schedule along with planned activities to aid your child's growth and development.

Follows the same enrollment and scheduling procedures as the Red Room, but designed for children between the ages of 15 months and 2 1/2 years. Play-based learning activities and planned group times are also included in the daily schedule.
