Head Coach Chas Kennedy
Coach Kennedy was named 2008 NJCAA District B Coach of the Year and ISCC Coach of the Year.
Coach Kennedy began his inaugural season as head coach of the MCC volleyball program in 2007. He looks to continue to strengthen an already stellar program that has qualified for the NJCAA national tournament in the past several years.
Kennedy is known for his involvement with the Sky High Volleyball Club, where he has worked since 1993 and currently serves as a head coach and facility manager.
Kennedy has taken various Sky High teams to the national championships. The Boys 16s finished third in 1998 and the Girls 15s took third place in both 2003 and 2004 under his guidance. His 2007 14s squad also qualified for United States Volleyball Association Junior Olympic nationals.
Most recently, he served as the assistant varsity coach and head sophomore coach at St. Edward High School (2004 through 2006), where the varsity team won the regional championship all three years and took fourth place in the Illinois State Championships during the 2004 season.

Assistant Coach Jeremiah Enberg
Jeremiah Enberg began with the McHenry County College Volleyball team as volunteer coach in 2007. He became assistant coach in 2008. In the off-season, Enberg coaches for the Sky High Volleyball Club in Crystal Lake.
Enberg’s work ethic and statistical assistance help to prepare the Scots to continue their conference championship, NJCAA district title and national tournament qualifier, winning streaks.
Enberg is currently working on his associates in science degree at MCC. He plans to major in elementary education at a university in 2009 while continuing to coach.
