Assistant Coach Jenna Szabo

Coach Jenna Szabo attended Streamwood High School while making the Varsity team and earning Academic All-Conference for 3 years. She went on to play at Judson University as a NAIA scholar athlete while receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She earned the team's "Spirit Award" her freshman year and the team's "Most Improved" her sophomore year. Judson's softball team went to NCCAA National's three out of her four years, receiving 3rd place her sophomore year. Coach Szabo graduated in May of 2015 and is working on her Master's Degree at Argosy University in Human Resources. She also coaches the Fox Valley Renegades 16U travel softball team. The 2015 Renegade softball team went to Nationals and placed 4th out of 60 teams.

Coach Szabo believes that with solid recruiting classes, the girls need to be coachable and have a strong work ethic. With solid pitching and defense, the Scots should be a contenders for conference and regionals. The mission should be to leave everything on the field each day and give the best version of yourself each time you step onto field whether it be a game or practice. The mission should also be to work hard and get better each and every day. She tells her players that "you practice how you play and to be mentally tough day in and day out."
